About this student project
Rolla and the website is part of a student project at Cal State Long Beach in the Senior class of 2011.
We had the opportunity to launch a business, encouraged and guided by a guest entrepreneur and our professor. Within a time frame of 7 weeks, we had to develop a product within the product’s requirements as well as consumers’ needs. The project could potentially develop into a real-life business opportunity.

The design theme is to create a strolling-skating product in a 7-week time frame.
Requirements:
* must be a strolling-skating product
* used by a parent carrying one child plus groceries or other
* Target distance: 1 mile or less
* Easy to maintain, minimum cost.
* No drive train (no pedals, no motors, no gears, no chains, no transmission).
* No plastic molding (no high pressure tooling like injection molding).
* Composite molding is allowed (like glass molding, for low volume production).
